Our Interior Painting Sequence
Move furniture into center of rooms and cover with protective sheeting
Protect floors with heavy duty Painters drop-sheets
Removal (and re-installation after painting) of light fittings, window coverings and picture hooks
Pole sanding of ceiling and walls
Patching of any noticeable dents and scrapes to walls and ceilings
Filling of any cracks to walls and ceilings or between walls and wood work
Dust walls and ceiling down with microfiber sweeper
Supply and application (two thick coats) of ceiling flat paint to ceiling's and cornice's. 20mm nap length quality sheepskin roller cover used to provide superior paint coverage hiding power
Supply and application (two thick coats) of low sheen washable paint to walls. 12mm Monarch professional roller cover used to provide an even eggshell texture and correct film thickness for long lasting results.
Sanding down all wood work (doors and door frames, skirting boards, windows and window frames) priming any bare timber as required
Removal of any flaking paint or other defects
Filling of any nail holes or gaps and cracks with premium materials
Supply and application (two thick coats) of either gloss paint or gloss clear coat to all woodwork. (particular care taken with window sills or other area's in direct sunlight and usually a third coat is put on these free of charge to ensure longevity).
Removal of protective sheeting and move furniture back to it's original location.
